The first program's segments included:
- A visit with North Country Healthcare Providers (NCHP), our extensive regional hospital and healthcare network.
- A discussion of Sexual Assault Nurse Education Training in the county with Judy Kepes of NCHP, Teresa Corbin, Director of Student Development and Counseling Services at Clarkson University, and Jerry Richards St. Lawrence County District Attorney.
- A "Showcase of Local Talent" segment, this month featuring "the Last Show" with music from French pop to Broadway
- An exploration of “Responsible drinking,” the effects and consequences of irresponsible alcohol consumption on individuals, and the serious efforts to protect our towns from those who would abuse alcohol and commit DWI.
The second program's segments included:
- Snomobiling regulations on expanding snomobile trails in the adirondacks Along with the impacts on the people and the land.
- Musicians George Ross and Neil Fitzgerald called the New Age Guitar Duo. You Can purchase their music at Northern Music and Video, as well as Strawberry Fields here in Potsdam.
- A look into the Housing Lottery on Clarkson Campus. Discussing the pros and cons within a small video clip.
- Ending with a video clip on the Potsdam Co-Op, how it go started as well as a breif overview of how it stays running and what they supply, and who they supply for.
The third program's segments included:
- A discussion with Tom DeRosa regarding fused solutions.
- A video clip about fused solutions.
- An interview with Professor Tom Langen on Turtle Research. A video clip.
- Ending with a video clip on the Story and Life of a Potsdam student Travis Waters.
The staff and talent for North Country Matters is off for the Summer.
We will be returning in September, again bringing you the matters
that matter to you.
